uhm, why dont you check your facts before calling someone a stupid fuck, you stupid fuck. And the red ring of death means its overheated, when only 3 lights are lite up it means that it is a technical problem, you stupid fuck. And by the way, its spelled STUPID not stuped, you STUPID FUCK!

The towel trick is going to obviously not work according to the tempearture it is currently at. Making it warmer will just screw everything up because it makes it even warmer. I suggest you put a fan near it and leave it for at least 10 minutes.

That is what they say but the console fails because the fan cuts out because the console overheats and when the fan cuts out you will not notice and the overheating will get so bad it will melt the hardware and if you try to turn it on it will refuse to turn on and show you because I had the two rings of death and after waiting for a day or say no tricks on it or nothing I could turn it back on

Sometimes, only sometimes, the PS3 get something called The Green Screen Of Death (You can probably guess what it does)

I used the Towel trick to fix my mates xbox it worked for about 2 days … then it had to be taken apart.
I got some Thermal paste from a pc shop £5.99 ….
I removed the heat sinks and put fresh thermal paste on them then put it all back together… It then had the red ring of death first time switching on as it was sealing through heat
second time turned on it work perfectly!
Cost £5.99 and some spare time

The towel trick makes it worse because the console dies or gets the RROD is due to overheating wrapping in a bunch of towels is in no way ever going to help it so you might as well send it to Microsoft unless your three year warranty has run out which then means your basically fucked but you should get a PS3 even though the XBOX is a good console and has good games but PS3 have their share of good games too but It don’t really matter about which console to me it matters about reliable hardware.

when i did the trick mine worked for 2 games of cod mw2 then i turned it off and come back down to turn it on, i got the rrod again, not to mention that when i had it working it had weird lights running down it. Thanks microsoft.

Listen here!!! For everyone who thinks it doesnt work… it does!! I used 3 towels and overheat for 13min and let it cooled for 8min..
It is dangerous and there is a possiblity it will NOT work for SOME.. it worked on mine… and it is not FAKE!
