  Play a game and keep it on for a long time basically you want the system to over heat which cause rrod (red ring of death\) if u need any more help on 360 or anything else join

  put it in a microwave for 2 minutes( Just get a PS3 and you wont have that problem)..LOL!!!!

  Put a dvd in, let it play, wrap your console in a blanket or tape up the vent holes, it will soon overheat and have hardware failure

  Tell Microsoft that it has three flashing red lights. They will magically believe you.

  Hi,

  Ok to answer your question if you want to cause the 3 red lights. Do the towel trick which involves wrapping your console in 3 or 3 towels and overheating it.

  Why?

  What this does is overheat the motherboard and the solderring will reconnect for a little while and it will work, however it is only temporary and eventually you will get the 3 red lights error.

  The only thing is once you have the 3 red lights and send it in, they will only refurbish your Xbox meaning that they do all the work on the same Xbox 360 and send it back to you.

  The problem comes in that if you do the towel trick you could damage other components in the Xbox.

  Also the freezing is the start of the 3 red lights so just keep playing the Xbox and when it freezes turn it on and off and play again eventually you will see the 3 red lights.
