  ive had mine since last November, i haven’t had it, although i came close when i was playing it and the power shut off in my house, and then it blinked 3 red rings and i like front flipped off my bed and yanked the power cord out of the back and never touched it until later that night lol

  Once or twice, only because some cables weren’t plugged in properly.

  I got e74 and microsoft sent me a brand new replacement. (jasper)

  i lug my xbox around carelessly all the time. i even play with it in an awfully ventilated bag because i’ll be too lazy to take it out, but my suggestion is just download whatever game you’re currently addicted to, directly to your harddrive, and play that way. i’m pretty sure the main problem is people letting it get way too hot because a disc is flying in their for hours.

  i think it depends when you brought it as i think it was just a batch of them. i was told from microsoft that it was due to bad soldering but to answer your question i havent had the rings of death but my brother has

  i had the full circle of death where all 4 lights flash.
  but that was when the xbox still had the high red ring rate.
  after i got it back though i’ve had a couple 3 rings problems but that was mainly due to where i place my xbox. and had nothing to do with how it was made
