Im really not sure, but i do see ads on craigslist all the time of people fixing it for around 20bucks… maybe you can learn from them.

Send it back to Microsoft. I fix these things all day and it’s not worth it to buy all the tools just to fix one xbox and be done. You will need a reflow station, T10 driver, T8 driver, flat head, needle nose pliers, some arctic clean, some arctic silver 5 and you can go to town. I have a basic overview of the procedure on my site:
