Microsoft issued and “extended warranty” to Xbox 360′s regarding most of the “E” errors. I ran out of my warranty also and this happened, I called them to see how much it would cost and they informed me that there has been a 3 year extended warranty if you purchased it within a certain time frame. The time frame consists of just about every xbox that was manufactured more than 6 months ago, so I’m guessing you are in luck. Either go to xbox.com and register it, and make sure you check the box that corresponds to the error you are having and it should turn from the “expired” red bubble, to a “green” bubble. If that doesn’t work, call them and try to do it over the phone, if for some reason it is not covered, start arguing with them, and stay on the phone as long as possible asking to talk to the manager, then supervisor, and don’t quit until they say they will do it for free. My friend told me about how he did this, and it worked, after my 3rd xbox burned out and it wasn’t covered I tried this technique and after about 25 minutes they agreed to send me a brand new xbox, along with a couple thousand microsoft points. Keep on bringing up the point that you have had many XBOX, and your friends have all had many, and they always break, they will work something out with you trust me. If that doesn’t work, type your problem into google, the only other option that you will be able to find online is repairing it yourself, and honestly, if you do not know allot about computers, or what specific parts are, your just going to waste your time and cause more damage. Good look, I would go with the first few approaches first.
Adding to that, the first time this happened to me, I researched the problem online, and there is about an 80% rate of success if you wrap your xbox up in towels, turn it on, and let it overheat, I have no idea why, but it works, its a quick fix and most likely wont “solve” the problem, but if you are out of options give it a try. Search for it on youtube.
If you know a good ammount about computers, or fixing these types of things, you will most likely have to buy an AV input/ output module to replace the existing one, because that is what is failing.
And im guessing that you have tried using different cables from the AV output to you tv????? -

You can follow John’ advice:)
But it doesn’t help you, it’s suggested that you learn how to fix it by yourself with a guide like the one in the source. So every time it breaks, you can fix it yourself, fast and free.
