To get it to display the 3 red lights you need to overheat it. If it’s just the lower right corner that usually means you have a connection problem somewhere so I would just try to unplug everything and then plug it back in. If that doesn’t work then just try to overheat it. Put in a game, place it between a bunch of stuff and wrap a blanket around it so the heat from the fans has nowhere to go and that should do the trick! Even if it won’t play a game just wrapping it up in a blanket and leaving it on for a while should overheat it.
Another thing you could do is call them and say you have the 3 red lights. Then they will send you a prepaid shipping box to put it in and send it back to them. Once it gets there they will see that it doesn’t work and most likely will just put in another one to send back. You’ve got nothing to lose, worst case scenario is that they send it back to you!
Good luck!

dude doing that is wrong even though u r the little guy u r taking the big guys money and that could prevent something like this happening so that the next console could be better. but i will tell u that mine just had a broken reader and they fixed it for free and it was a elite it did have warranty but it was not a original witch was supposed to be the only free ones so i think they r fixing them for free now
also the over heating it could make it catch on fire if it is one of the 1st 360s so don’t wrap it up or anything if it is over heating and is in a enclosed space get the 360 cooler

Well regardless of how many lights are flashing I’m a firm believer that if you complain loud and long enough about anything then they’ll fix it. My brother is a notorious warranty abuser and I’ve seen him coerce both Sony and Microsoft in to fixing or replacing systems well beyond their warranty after some lengthy phone calls.
Anyways, 3 red lights. Why not just tell them you’re getting 3 red lights? If they take it in and test it there isn’t really any way of them denying that YOU didn’t get 3 red lights just because THEY can’t get 3 red lights when they test it.

Yea I got the lower red light a few months back that almost made me shit my pants. (would have been my second returned xbox) but I researched it and then shut her down and cleaned it with compressed air cans and eventually found out that my hard drive was halfway unhooked which was causing the problem.
