leave it on and cover it with a towel very tightly very shortly like two to three hours it will over heat making the metal piece melt and walllaaaaa fixed xbox 360

leave the xbox on for a few days straight and let it overheat, the fans right up against a wall and it should start flashing at ya.

Letting the X-Box overheat is always the sure bet for those who want to intentionally cause the Red Ring of Death. A friend of mine did it himself a few months ago because he had an error which wasn’t covered by the warranty.
The guys at the Xbox Forums are also pretty confident that letting the X-Box stay on for a long period of time (a few days) will cause the fan to wear out and eventually quit, letting the console overheat and die.
