Try not to play it for such a long time. Keep it off for a day or so or try contacting Microsoft.
I got the ring but after I gave it some time and checked the cords it worked fine…
that dpepends all on how many of the lights lit up
The ring of death occurs when theupper-right quadrant light is the only light that does not flash red.
if all four are up then The audio-visual (AV) cable is not connected correctly or plugged into the Xbox 360 console.

The new consoles do not break when they get the ring of death.
This usually happens when there is a loose cable and when a power failure happens like when someone turns off your breaker or your power goes out. This is nothing to worry about. This has happened to me once after i got my 360 fixed but i just turned it back on, it happened because i accidently turned off my little cable that you can hook like 5 cords in like a clock,tv, 360 etc
