Okay, so for a little while I was repairing XBOX 360s because I did one console and was surprised that I could fix it. I bought a console off eBay that had never been opened w/ E74 error. I done the heat gun method (Artic Silver 5 thermal compound, machine screws, nylon washers, etc.) and it worked for 1 week and then got the 3RROD??? I thought the fix would PREVENT red ring AND fix E74 error (atleast that is what the manual said!!!) I have tried every fix!! the penny trick, the oven trick, heat gun, trick etc. Any ideas? All is appreciated! Thanks
