Red Ring of Death or RRoD is identified when you have a general failure of your hardware. When your hardware gets overheated the motherboard of your central processing unit also gets heated. Due to this the graphic processing unit i.e. GPU, which is fitted on the motherboard, gets looses its soldering over motherboard. This error is shown by the indication of flashing of 3 red lights. The green light near the power button turn to red right and this freezes your Xbox 360.

1) Carefully disassemble your Xbox 360 case. You will be able to see small rectangular holes and some grayed out holes, just slightly poke it by fine tip poker. Remove the faceplate, move latch up on the DVD drive as you are removing it. Get the metal case off which is inside the plastic case.
