i’m trying to stream an xvid encoded avi file from my pc (XP, Windows Media Player 11) to my xbox. the file was originally encoded with dx50, which i had never heard of before, and when i played it on my xbox, it would become slow and studdering after a minute into the video. i thought it was because of the codec, so i used “Nic’s FourCC changer” (it came with the xvid codec?) to change it to xvid, because i never had a problem with any other video encoded with xvid. still slow and studdery. anybody know how i can fix this? maybe a better program to recompress my video with?
