How I Fixed My Xbox 360 Fast In Under 1 Hour
Posted on June 21st, 2010 5 commentsHi my name is Jonah,
I made this page to show you how I fixed my xbox 360 in under 1 hour and got back to gaming the same day, with out any hassle. I’m definitely NOT a gaming pro, or some big computer nerd, but fixing my xbox was super easy and a lot cheaper then shipping it away it Microsoft. (trust me man, you don’t want to do this) I’ve had so many of my friends asking me what I did… I thought it would be easier to share my story on this page, and maybe save some people the trouble and wait of sending it to “someone else”.
Just last week I had a few friends over playing Call of Duty 4, when all of a sudden my screen froze up and bam! just like that everything died. The screen went completely black and when I tried to restart it all I got was the dam xbox red lights. Man I was pissed, now I have to go through all the crap my pal Josh went through, and I didn’t even know if it would work. I paid so much money for this thing (like 600 bucks if you count all my games), and now I couldn’t even play any games, watch movies, or anything (still makes me cringe when I think about it).
I was NOT happy at all. But what the hell could I do? My friend had the same thing happen to him a few months back, (apparently every other one of these things gets busted at some point) and he sent his in to be ‘officially’ repaired by Microsuck. They hit him with $150 for the repair, but they must of spent that on something else because he got it back and the dam thing broke again after only 4 weeks.
Apparently if you ship your xbox 360 into Microsoft to be fixed, it’s really sent to some big warehouse in Texas where a bunch of cheap workers mess around with it and try to patch it up. I don’t know about you man, but that kind of upsets me – I thought Microsoft were the “professionals”, not a bunch of guys making $5/hour and fixing 300 xboxes a day on a big factory table. A lot of stuff can go wrong in that situation.
So I thought… maybe I could try and fix this thing myself, at least then I could get back to gaming FAST, like before the weekend was over fast. So I surfed around the net and found loads of people selling all kinda of “xbox self repair” guides. Long story short, I ended up wasting money on 3 different repair guides that confused the hell out of me, until I found this really sweet guide called “1 Hour 1 2 3 Red Light Fix”. Not only would it fix my ring of death (3 red lights) error, but it also fixes 2 red lights and 1 blinking red light error as well, just in case my xbox ever decided to break again.
After I bought the guide, everything else was so easy. I just sat back and watched some cool video tutorials on my computer, and I was back on xbox live in like 1 hour. My buddy Tim ran off with the guide of course, and apparently it worked for him too. I truly believe I would be counting dots on my ceiling; or, god forbid, doing homework if I had not found this guide. That is why I have written this page.

There site will explain it a lot better than I could, so I’m not even going to bother trying.
I hope this helps you! (it sure helped me)

p.s This is the link to the site that I used to fix my xbox 360 ring of death =>
p.p.s Here’s some info on the other 3 repair guides I tried out.
The Chris Jones 3 red light fix was the first guide I tried. This guide gives you 2 techniques to fix your xbox 360, the first one said to wrap a towel around my xbox and “bake it” (ya he actually said to bake it). Luckily I recently read about all the problems with using this method to fix the xbox and I instantly requested a refund and to my surprise, I had my refund in only like 12 hours. You could use this guide to fix your xbox, but from my experience I don’t recommend it (maybe they’ve improved it by now, no clue) I give this guide 3 stars.

This 3 red lights fix guide had pretty clearly written pdf instructions and a few videos to watch. Although the guide appeared to be complete, the video quality was very poor and they provided no email support, but if you don’t need customer support you’ll probably do ok with this guide, but be prepared for a challenge (too confusing for me)! I give this guide 4 stars.

The 360 Fix Kit was probably the 2nd best guide I came across (if you’re looking to fix the E71 or E99 error, this is the guide you want), the only complaint I had was when I tried to login my password wouldn’t work. I had to wait around a full day just to get a new one from Jerry (the guy that owns the site), but after I got logged in, all the info was there to fix any dvd drive issues. If your dvd drive is stuck and won’t even open, I would go with this guide.Xbox Problems 360 xbox repair, domains yahoo, e74 error, e74 error fix guide, e74 fix, e74 tutorial repair, how to fix all rrod, quick xbox 360 repair, red ring of death xbox 360, red wing of death repair written, Ring Of Death, Rrod, rrod repair guide pdf, siteanalysis, x box repair, Xbox, xbox 3 red lights, xbox 360 4 rrod repair, Xbox 360 E74 Error, xbox 360 e74 repair guide pdf, xbox 360 repair, xbox 360 repair one red light-self repair, xbox 360 ring of death fix, xbox e74, xbox e99 error, xbox error e74 fix, xbox fix, xbox red light, xbox red ring, Xbox Red Ring Of Death, xbox red ring of death fix e74, xbox red ring repair, xbox repair, xbox repair guide, xbox repair guide e74, xbox repair kit, xbox repairs, xbox ring of death, xbox ring of death fix, xbox ring of death repair, xbox rrod, xbox rrod fix, xbox rrod repair, xbox rrod repair guide, xbox rrod repair manual, xboxquickrepair, xboxquickrepair.com
