about a year ago i got the red rings of death. I sent my xbox in to get repaired and i got it back and it worked fine until 3 or 4 days ago. I got the e74 message. I’ve called about getting it fixed and they said i’d have to pay $100.
my question is:
a) Should i send it in to get fixed and risk something messing up again?
b) Or I can buy one off a family member that’s used and risk having problems?
c) Just buy a new one and hope nothing goes wrong?

I don’t know how often they have problems after getting repaired. All three options are gonna be roughly between 100-200 dollars.
