Video card problem – Reflow – PS3, XBox 360, NVidia, ATI chipsets, DV Laptops and Desktops
Posted on March 1st, 2010 5 commentsVideo card/VGU overheats overtime and causes video to fail. This reflow trick applies to most HP laptop DV models, PS3, xbox 360 and some of the desktops. Typical symptoms are screen flickers, blue screen dumps by the OS and automatic reboots, grey lines, dark screens (no video at all), system powering on and shutting off, no video and computer beeps to indicate a video problem, touchpad slows and freezes. This approach will fix just about any graphics chip/GPU chip rise thermal damage Issue. You can apply this method to fix faulty video cards and XBOX 360s (can be applied to CPU and GPU on the gaming systems). This particular demonstration is on a DV9000 laptop.
