from wat i heard no they send you the same xbox BUT they make look like an original. cause some guy sent in a customized xbox (with signatures not the layout) and they cleaned it sparking clean cause the iditot actually believed those stupid customer service ppl.

I got a new one when I sent mine in.
But that was 10 months ago.Try.
I also had the E74 error.
I was glad I got it bcuz I wanted to get a new xbox.
They sent me a new one.
