  when i got the red ring of death i call microsoft cause my friend had his break and i was told i would get a free one. they gave me some bull$h!t why i couldnt get a new one so i just switched to the ps3 and i’m hooked. i love mgs4. i doubt theres a limited time though.

  i’m not sure but try the Xbox section under consumer electronics > games and gear > xbox

  well back in 2005 the xbox 360 warranty was only 1 YEAR but a year later, they would have so many call-ins about the 3 Red Rings Of Death they added an extra 3 year warranty to every ones xbox, does that help?

  it happened to me acouple of timea try unpluging everythoing and just leave it for a day or so than replug everything back in and try to see if that works, it did for me

  The RRoD is a serious problem man, and we are fortunate we caught it early. You see, if it wasn’t spotted until later then it could have led to speech impediment, impotence, or could have potentially been fatal. You, my friend, should communicate with the Microsoft hotline at your earliest convinience. Until they send you the box to send your Xbox in you can squeese in some play time by (no joke) placeing a hot towel over your console and allow it the clog the vents . This will for some reason give you a few hours of play. This method counteracts the flaw in the console’s design. When the box arrives, bid it farewell and it is on it’s way to one of the biggest journeys of it’s life. Light a candle every night until it’s return.
