Do not atempt relf repairs if u cant even get the case open by urself n know that ul nd thermal paste ahead if time. wow if you really dont want the red ring or any red just dont overheat it dont play as much like 4hrs is good then let it rest and play after it cools the free way if you want to nerd out just buy an intercooler i have had mine for 3 yrs and its perfect

how did u put the 3 pennies wrapped in electrical tape on there, i mean how did u make it stick to the Ana chip? cuz i already did the x-clamp fix and it still giving me 1 red light with e 74, mine is falcon board by the way. this is worth trying but just wondering how u would put it on there

i was about to take mine to the shop to fix it but i realise the shop i got the xbox from was moved to somewhere i don’t even know and other shops says they only fix xbox if the customer brought it from there fuck that why can’t they just fix it i will still pay stupid microsft rules

i opened my xbox 360. i put 3 pennies in electrical tape just like the video onto the Ana chip. i took off the x-clamps (idk why Microsoft put them in the first place). i applied thermal paste on the GPU and the CPU. than i put everything back together. than it worked perfectly. i did this 2 years ago and it is still working.

hey, i have a problem i got the three ring of death and there is a quiz buzz sound that goes off by the fan….what could be the problem, and to be more precise its coming from its looks like a capacitor surrounded by coil its right in front of the fan…..have you any idea of what it could be??

it toke me forever to find how to fix it. i tryed the towel trick doesnt work, tryed penny thing doesnt work, so i just removed the x clamp then put new bolts in.

All this time I though the RROD was a problem that could never be fixed by one tweak. WTF is Microsoft doing, all they need are just better solders and the failure rate will drop from 50% to like 1%.

I just think with the backbone that microsoft has had for almost 40 years, they would nonetheless, deliver a quality product. but no, thats never been true for microsoft. ship it and hope it works.

Lol so nvidia can stop producing GPU’s early again and force Sony to stop making PS3s and then rush out the PS4 with the Pink light of death?
lol jk doubt that will happen and the PS3 is looking to be a great console now, lower price and it has a fair amount of games I would actually want to play.

which in a way, makes me want to buy a ps3 after the my next 360 failure… you can do anything with that system. linux, blu-ray, custom notebook HDD, etc.
