Ok so I was playing Halo 3 one day in matchmaking when suddenly my screen froze. I thought it was just loading, so I waited. My controller kept vibrating though, probably because I was getting shot at when it froze. So I turned my xbox off, waited a bit, then turned it back on. The 3 red lights of death came, i checked my xbox plug in part, everthing was in. My power generator was orange (the xbox was off). What could’ve hapenned? I’ve had the red lights before, but then I waited a few days and it was gone. Should I wait a few days? Or get it seen by someone? Also I play my xbox a lot. Sorry to hear your xbox 360 took a S***.
Microsoft may be able to fix it for free. If your not under warrante it’s going to be nearly $140 I believe. And you might be waiting weeks to months waiting on repairs and shipping.
You should check out some repair guides, they guarantee to get your xbox back and running in under 1 hr or your money back.

Do NOT use cheap quick fixes like the “towel trick” or the “x-clamp fix” as this can severely damage your XBox 360 and normally only works for a day or so.
