Xbox Live problems internet incompatible with friend?

This is a weird problem, I seem to be having a problem with connecting to a friend on Xbox Live. I can’t join his Live Parties, can’t join the game when he’s hosting and it’s the same for him when I’m hosting. Even if we’re not hosting the game, one of us will randomly get d/c’d from the room. It’s like our internet connections are fighting with each other, lol. Has anybody had this problem and are there any solutions?

This happent to me all the time in COD 5 and i always end up losing the connection. We both have a strong connection its just the game glitching, but one of you might have family settings on or xbl may have a problem for the moment….
I just checked mine and it works fine so i guess your alone with that problem. My suggestion is both of you try to connect to other parties and see who satys and who cant and that way you can see who the problem is. -

Have both of you reset you network settings and try again. Had this once with Halo Wars, it went away afterwords.
